David Barham - Our new Board Overlord

Well, GWS Giant Haneen Zreika has once again refused to play in the AFLW Pride Round

Good timing

There we have it. Tom Browne has declared Andrew Muir could be the new President because…“He has his own JET!!!”

Ah well, that’s their problem. Just outing herself as a ■■■■■■■■.

State and Federal opposition leaders have both come out in favour of Thorburn too. No doubt to try and grab favour with the sky santa brigade amongst their base.

Bornstein has already offered his services. I don’t agree that he should have had to chose which role he preferred (or that there was a conflict of interest to begin with) but I’m sure there would be a contractual provision within Thorburn’s contract of employment with EFC, which enables EFC to terminate where a conflict of interest has arisen. As flimsy as it is, that “conflict” were the “values” of City on Hill. And it won’t even reach court. There will be some sort of negotiated outcome, like Folau.

Stinger: “Borderline flying”

Muir: “Actually flying”

He didn’t know about those sermons, there are others that don’t gel with inclusiveness and diversity, allegedly there are some pretty offensive things said at the COAH Services.
Maybe as Chair of COAH he will get his pastors to preach inclusiveness and diversity in the true Christian tradition
Get his own house in order.
Wonder how he went as an accredited sport chaplain.

It’s a nice angle to gain support for his plight, but everyone knew Rutten was gone and was coaching out the year. The club knew. He knew. The fans knew.

Thorburn said he didn’t know about those offensive sermons, but he didn’t disown them.

And in the many, many years since, those particular sermons remain the only ones EVER that were offensive. Jeez it was unlucky they were featured on the website, wasn’t it?

Pull the other one, it whistles ‘see the Bombers fly up’

Well he did disown them by saying on SEN that “I don’t agree with all views of the Church” and then doing the same in his statement, but he dug in on people being entitled to express their faith.

exactly, he didnt inidicate it was the headline views he disagrees with

Would be nice if he could identify them, but I suppose if he wants to stay as Chair , he’s locked in to supporting what’s on the website.

Farking bigoted ■■■■■.

Come on guys, let’s get her!!!

What do you think @dingus??

The 7 news tonight (while I’m in Vic) has just reminded me how much I don’t miss Tom Browne’s smug smirking face while living in Qld.
Truly Backpfeifengesicht.

Scott’s much better than average. Can’t disagree with the rest of the post though.

He shouldn’t have to though because (not to ignite a debate on faith based positions) religious beliefs are a protected attribute under state and federal law. Of course there are limits on protection, but on a surface level, he doesn’t need to disown anything. @bigallan

What is doesn’t really matter?

So is it official that Muir is trying to replace Barham??

But as Chair, he commits to being supportive of what is expressed on that site, values which may be in conflict with EFC values.
As CEO of EFC, he is obliged to give effect to EFC values.
If he were a simple member of COAH he could dine a la carte.
