Passed on $850k apparently as CEO, but reportedly earns more from the church.

That he “resigned”. Hell argue that due to the conversations which took place that he felt he had no other option but to resign, which is constructive dismissal and will open up the door for not only an adverse action claim through the fair work commission but also the relevant human rights tribunals
I’m really interested in where the HUN got that reported 1 million a year figure for Thorburn at the church.
This is from their financial report. Even though it’s all a grift, I just don’t see one chairman getting a million from this.

I kinda wonder what the church will make of that. Probably not much, cos I imagine that he’s a generous donor, and organisations make exceptions for that sort of person.

So the Archbishop stays and contines to practice in an organisation that was responsible for raping and molesting children and subsequently covering it up but the Essendon CEO resignation is too upsetting he’s relinquishing his membership. Is that right?

Mind you, Essendon’s #1 ticket holder for some time was the archbishop who was personally responsible for covering most of those crimes up.
