I want him to say that to Scott’s face.

Damien has it in for Barham. First to go after him for every thing he does. Wonder if there is history there?
Good, let Barham complete his agenda of change and renewal.
He’s made some missteps, but it’s a hell of a lot better than the status quo.
Thank god for that
Sheedy hasnt said boo since the appoinment of brad my guess that Barham and the board pulled Sheedy in line
Welsh will be a candidate for the next Board election.
How many vacancies to be filled by election and how many by appointments?
(at least one appointment would be available with Welsh up for election)
Damien has it in for anyone and everyone who ■■■■■ up once. He spots a weak target and just goes for it. He’s a poor persons ■■■■
Was a real board challenge ever gonna happen? As far as im concerned, Paul Little said a few words and everyone ran with that as a board challenge
Or he said his piece, and is now supporting brad as he said he would
Wonder what it would actually take for Essendon supporters to want board change?
The saga wasn’t it, the succession plan wasn’t it, thorburn wasn’t it.
More please sir.
Still dosen’t excuse him tho.
What should have been a positive day for the club with the announcement of Brad Scott but instead all the head lines were about Sheedy and his comments.
I would hope the club has told him that in future not to make comments like that again espically when it’s something major like announcing a new coach
Barham pre-empted a challenge with an ANNOUNCE on new positions and revised structure, final draft of external review, CEO appointment in the offing.
Only good thing he appalued about Essendon was the signing of Brad Scott everything else he’s been a kent
Exactly. It was all just a few “I can do better” types getting all worked up over a couple of bottles of red. But when push comes to shove and a few weeks goes by, then it all just dies a natural death.
Yup
I think Barham got in just in time and that resulted in partial board change. We did have three board members - including the President - leave the board in the last 6 weeks and aside from the Thorburn snafu Barham has at least said and (appeared) to do a lot of the things fans have been asking for.
If Brasher had stayed on, Truck and X were still at the club, there’d have been a board challenge this off season and they’d likely have been successful.
While a ball hasn’t been kicked yet under this new regime, I am a lot more confident with the club than I would have been if the pre-Barnham arrangement existed.
Boo
