What troubles me is that Barham has form with his clumsy decisions: Thorburn, Rutten/Clarkson. Plus he’s been on the board for a while, part of the decisions we’ve been critical of. Then we learn he shafted Hird who wanted a board position, encouraging him to apply for the coaching role. I do not have the faith Barham and his mates will do anything better than the others. He certainly hasn’t shown that so far. I can’t stomach him being considered the messiah.

The elevation of Dorothy Hisgrove to vice President is also troubling. She led the review that engaged Thorburn, then we hear she’s VP at the AGM. We are expected to trust the board. I gave that up at least 10 years ago. Essendon boards seem to be Teflon coated.

well i dont’ think he’s the messiah either, and I don’t particularly trust this board either.

but you know who I don’t trust either to put the actual EFC first, and that is Kevin sheedy and or james hird. and the less those 2 have to do with the club moving forward, the better.

So again running to robbo to cry about how big bad barham duped me (hi kev we know it was you ) does nothing but show how ill equipped he is to be playing this games now that he doesn’t have on field exploits to save him, and show how both just think they are the only people who can fix the club, despite being 2 of the biggest hands in putting us in the position we are in.

barhams made some moves that has got us to a point that we needed to be, nothing more nothing less, how things progress forward now time will tell.
