I missed it
What could possibly be funny? maybe he was laughing at players who cant execute a simple kick to a team mate under no pressure lols

None of them are really fast though, Maybe we do need a Wilson type.
Deep Forward McKay with Huss at his feet
higher forward role Caddy with Merret playing a small inside 50 forward role.
Durham & El Hawli as 5th & 6th forward (Perkins or Edwards as spare /bench forward
Wings Dursma & Day Wicks (Cox from bench)
I think this shows just how risky it can be to sack a coach at the half way point.
Now we have an out of form defender playing forward and inexperienced defender maybe also going forward.
Ridley will go at the end of this year and Prior right now is uncontracted.
There is no way our 2027 coach will play Reid forward. So now he is likely to waste time playing forward and miss out on development. He finally gets in uninjured run at it and all of a sudden we swing him to the other end of the ground, only to swing back to the backline permanently in the pre season.
I once sat an exam at University for Pure Maths II and it was the same paper as Philosophy III.
First question was 1 plus 1 equals 2, prove it true or false.
Mathematically it is a mammoth task to prove. The Bible for Mathematicians is called Principia Mathematica is by Alfred North Whitehead and Bertrand Russell
And in that book, they didn’t even get to the full proof until page 379.
Much more simply done by Philosophers who prove it is false.
All I needed from Deano was to whisper those three, little, sweet, sweet words:
“New game plan”.
Absolutely good enough and the subtlest way to indicate that Scott was an absolute fraud without having to mention his name.
The game style will flow back from offence to defense.
It always fluctuates back and forth imo.
The best way of beating the modern style is to apply pressure and restrict uncontested possession, to make it a contest whilst keeping numbers on the outside to prevent breakouts.
And the truth is we shouldn’t just be focusing just on what the best teams are doing now but what they will be doing in 2-4 years times.
Contested ball, skills in transition, and hard two way running are always in style imo.
All I needed from Deano was to whisper those two, little, sweet, sweet words:
Fark Carlton
Ridiculousness of both those answers boggles my mind.
I don’t mind it if it means we get some games into Hayes (when he is ready)
Guess you never did Pure Maths or Philosophy at University.
Maybe you should star reading the works of Bertrand Russell, if he was a Bomber supporter his views on our culture would be interesting.
Cox runs like he has been smoking a pack a day since he was twelve.
At the game I saw some positive changes to game plan/style. Kick in strategy was vastly improved. Much less predictable. Took territory at times. A few set plays that worked. Hardly any chip to the pocket that we used to do endlessly, and the stupidest farking thing ever.
More willing to move the ball quickly off half back, enabled us to finally switch the ball with purpose a few times. I think we’ll quickly get better at this, especially if we get some pace on the flanks - El Hawli, Durham, Merrett.
Backline overall seemed less confused than it has been. Was clear communication between players, you could hear them. Roles seemed more defined.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see us mucb more competitive within 3 weeks.
Interested to see what he can implement with his first full week at the helm, hoping we come out with some tweaks and changes.
Just caught his presser.
I’ll preface by saying that I don’t want Solly as coach (or think that he will be) but my goodness what a breath of fresh air to hear some direct answers to questions without the air filled cliches and circle talk.
Goodness I don’t miss Scott.
Today’s presser: “I think winning is an important part of development.”
How refreshing!
Yeah but there’s no point winning now, that can probably come next season (maybe?) - we’ve tanked ourselves inadvertently (or purposefully) into pick 1 position so may as well try and maintain a top two pick for once, now.
I don’t care who our next coach is, but can we just have Solomon do the pressers every week!
The way he speaks, clearly, directly, informative is so damn refreshing from all the other coach clowns out there.
Yeah agree (at least compared to Brad). Just need to play it at 0.75x speed. He is a fast talker!
its all the lead in Broken Hill that does that
