Dons v Cats - TUES 25th 7.10pm @ the Cattery

We are due against them imo a win is coming

Oh ■■■■ i had forgotten about that

Would be wild if they didn’t name him in a squad of 26 after how he went last week

Oh, it’d be funny though.
Sign him on the back of that game and then back to SOP.

No he WASN’T !

He had a very average game.
We fkt ourselves by not applying scoreboard pressure in the early-mid stages of the 2nd qtr when we had ascendancy.

They had come off being flogged by Carlton and we’re in poor form, so gapping them by 4-5 goals in the wet would have made things interesting.

Of course we failed, and we would repeat our ineptitude 2 weeks later against a Demons side on their knees.

The second half was just terrible really hope we put those type of efforts after HT behind us and actually compete for a full game

I remember during the first half that Dangerfield wasn’t having much of an impact but after HT it changed and he was starting to have some influence by finding lots of space and being involved scoring chains

Of course our dumb players didn’t want to go near him

We may have dropped our heads by 3qtr time, I don’t agree that we were terrible.

We were still throwing punches in the 3rd.
It was the worst series of poor decisions paid against 1 club in a 15min spell I’ve ever seen.
Utterly sodomized by the Umps.

Reckon Geelong would have won the game anyway but it would have been nice to see what we could have done with equal luck.

both but he definitely has 2 first names which is a crime but a lesser crime than no first name at all

Dont know what thread to chuck this in but…

Is anyone else really surprised to see Hird working for Fairfax given how much pain and suffering The Age put him through?

Is Lav injured or we just don’t talk about him anymore?

Duz will be played sparingly FWD is a sharade, Edwards will play a lot FWD

Here we go

Both imo even if he recovers from his hip injury he wont be an automatic selection. Brad tried to off load him last year but no takers. He’s ooc and most likely wont get another one

ANZAC Day 2019 was well umpired by comparison.

The draft with Langford and Laverde, Laverne and Shirley there was only one…surely

Aside from the notes we are tall.

The cats forward line is well - quite short.

Cats could have taken Caddy. They went for O’Sullivan. He was also highly regarded. He will be interesting to watch.

ON LINE REPORT ON DRAFT

In the 2023 AFL Draft, Essendon traded with Geelong, giving the Cats an extra pick .

Trade Details:

•	Essendon received: Pick 11 (which they used to draft Nate Caddy)

•	Geelong received: Picks 12 and 27

Essendon moved up one spot in the draft order by trading Pick 12 and Pick 27 to Geelong in exchange for Pick 11. This allowed Essendon to secure Nate Caddy, a powerful key forward/midfielder from the Northern Knights.

Geelong, meanwhile, was happy to move back one spot to Pick 12 while also picking up an extra second-round pick (Pick 27).

None of them especially versatile either. They’re either playing as a KPD, on the bench or injured.

Is the Reserves game being televised?

no. It’s a lockout. No viewers live or on TV or cable
