Problem with being a ■■■■ is that if that kid was me, and they yelled like that with my old man next to me, they’d have gone over the grandstand fence. People take advantage of nice well mannered and stable-minded people to let off steam. ■■■■ of a thing.

Watching the replay I have counted 4 times in 3 1/4’s that Pendlebury has kicked it straight to an Essendon player. Yet the stats people say he only had 3 clangers. Doesn’t kicking it to the opposition count as a clanger?

Gotta love how it’s been mentioned ad nauseum that this is the biggest crowd for a sporting event in the world since Covid hit. Hugely disappointed that not once did I hear anyone say “This is the biggest crowd for a sporting event anywhere in the world, and the southern hemisphere.”

Just got home. That was the drunkest I’ve been at the footy in along while, so a bit of a blur actually…
But it was totally worth it.
I’ll watch the replay now, but there wasn’t much doubt, we had those clowns on the ropes for most of the game.
Well done everyone. We can go back to losing now (after we beat FC next week)

I have just landed back in Sydney after going to my first live match in 3 years. Such a great win. A real team performance with our pressure on the next level.
