So it isn’t a reality show where people do crack for the 1st time?
Too soon
hudson could be on crack.
rocking back and forth like a typical smug geelong supporting flog.
a) The AFL are not at all embarassed
b) The umpires are not “bad”. Otherwise they would not keep getting games
c) these “bad” decisions go only one way. How many egregious decisions were made in our favour yesterday or any other game)?
d) See a) and b).
First Crack is great for understanding game plans and tactics.
Usually. But tonight I think it was a bit off.
This one is interesting this week.
Tigers really couldn’t generate any scores from back half and almost all there goals have from front third scoring chains.
This is so different to the Collingwood game last year when Jones had a set shot.
Sounds about right. It’s modern coaching. You build game fundamentals and non-negotiable(s) within an identifiable system and then adapt the system to exploit the opposition weakness. BDB and co have actually picked the weakness in 9/10 games (they didn’t for Geelong IMO, or they may have but we were cooked) games but except for last night, we just haven’t been able to go to the next level when the opposition go to another level.
We’ve just had such dog ■■■■ coaches for the last decade who didn’t adapt with the times.
Upper yourself for watching those pelicans, branz.

Final quarter - 10:42 to go. Initially surprised Langford was the only one to remonstrate, but that could also be a sign of team discipline.
The Hun is reporting that the boots went to Demetriou’s son, the one holding the sign .
Not to mention 2 of our 3 pre-season supplemental period picks in Martin and Baldwin. Only Tex left to come in when he’s fully fit and finds form.
Unreal to have more than a quarter of the side come to us for free.
It is my right to get angry about things I can avoid.
Couple of things, Hind, for all his faults and a shocking turn over saved 2 goals on the line.
Heppel is playing so much better. He looked cooked up to about round 8.
I kept seeing tables on the screen with about 6 Tiger players having run so many km. No Bombers in that list
This is possibly why they are having trouble closing out games. Spent petrol tickets. They have not adapted the game plan to the age of their list, which relies on spread to get to contests and force turnovers. When they play so often on the G the amount of running the game plan requires is massive.
Our strategy was not to run quite so much but pick our way through with uncontested marks all game, leaving us with petrol tickets at the end.
Flipper. Needs a rest, poor ruckwork against a kid, 1 disposal in 3 quarters , Massimo had 5 in one quarter. It was the right move to bring Mass on. Maybe even earlier would have helped a bit.
Anyone worked out who gets dropped when we have full availability? Would the kids miss out… Hind and tippa may struggle to hold their spots.
R we planning on giving tsatis a run this year when he recovers?
Yeah nah. Was 9 strides. It’s probably over 15 but they let guys go 12/13 strides at times.
Just checking that, also watched the Merrett tackle on Martin. People having a crack at Hind for the fact Merrett went past him could pull their head in. Hind was checked by Cotchin and was being pushed off his intended line towards Martin.
