ALL YOUR REPLAY ARE BELONG TO US.

Footy Fix: 278 seconds and six moments to turn nine years of Dreamtime...
This is the story of a football club, reborn. If you're under about 25 years old, you've basically never known Essendon as anything other…
ALL YOUR REPLAY ARE BELONG TO US.
So. When Massimo came on, he went to half back, Hepp moved to the wing ( Hepp had been playing in the backline for the first 3 quarters), and Durham moved into the forward line to replace Stringer who was up at the CB. We saw the tip off the iceberg when Duzz took the mark at the edge of the square because he was absolutely huge all through the last quarter. The kid has a massive tank and incredibly strong one grab hands, the guts to stand under a high ball.
The second last goal, where he ran through a gap in a pack of players and got the handball away, it was like the cavalry arrived just in time.
Sensational.
Heppell also did a fantastic spoil when playing on Martin in the forward fifty. Third quarter? Was a really good win, wasn’t out positioned or out muscled!
For those of us who’ve theoretically worn out the replay of Dreamtime and our magnificent win, I encourage you to scroll back through the gameday thread. Particularly that last quarter …
Its hilarious. A thing of beauty … of mental pain, struggle and then absolute exhilaration. A work of art.
So, whatever happens I’ll never forget this game. So wanted it to be Anzac Day when I was there but I’ll take this win as the perfect remedy to that. Anzac Day is unfinished business.
Love these Bombers.

That is a truly fantastic read…
Monday morning this week is the best it’s been all year!!!
Happiness has returned!!!
Are the individual player videos for this match on the AFL app totally borked for others. I’ve tried the Martin and Hobbs ones but the events aren’t working properly
I need more replay!
Nathan Buckley absolutely loves Durham. Just heard him on radio giving him another polish. On the Fox broadcasts throughout the year he’s done similar. Loves his toughness and competitiveness.
Is it wrong that i wanted to belt the richmond flog sitting behind me more than celebrating the win.
“It’s a win that builds your fabric.” - Scott Lucas on the Bombers’ win last night.
I might have said something like that rather nostalgically and misty eyed to my young bloke on Saturday night. Don’t think he knows what I was on about, just more dad footy nonsense.
But I was actually talking about him and me.
There is always a Simpson’s quote to capture every part of life.

Quote of the week.
Seconded. Motion passed.
Not sure how everyone else is travelling. But I don’t have a voice today.
What was that.
Concur. Every Blitzer should read the ROAR article, it is spine tingling.
Then there is this. Not as good as The Roar article, but goes into more depth across the entire game.
The Bombers got up in the dying seconds of the Dreamtime game as Sam Durham goaled to sink the Tigers. JB Eddy has the review

Praise goes out to Draper aswell!!
He crashed that pack took out 3 Richmond players allowing the ball to go out the back where Stringer swooped on it.
Loved it, he needs to do more of this when playing up forward.
Perfect debut for someone like Voss. Could rest someone and bring in youth with hunger.
That Roar article is excellent. It touches on something Brad Scott spoke about post-game, that after four barren weeks, sticking to the process yielded rewards.
We weren’t perfect (far from it) on Saturday night. But we found a way, and that way was found by following a process.
Wins like this build belief. The yield of that belief might still be a few years off, but we’ve at least started to build it.
