It’s funny how the drinking spirits has moved into the perfect hangover cure

I think there’s actuall an Icy Pole thread TBH.
Go on Disney do it
… surely there is a Jedi/ Star Wars cocktail out there
I could get into that
I thought it tasted terrible but I don’t really like any IPA’s. I just kept a can for my Star Wars collection.

If they just made Return of the Jedi booze…
I could get into that
They had to change the name and label, it’s now J-Juice

Eww is it now Jabba Juice
The Solo to the right had to change its name too.
Eww is it now Jabba Juice

Not so long ago, Woodford Reserve was around $50 a bottle. It’s in Dan Murphy now for $72. Still the same whiskey.
Yes but you forget about the rapacious behaviour of American conglomerates.
Many of them have put up prices over 100% in our supermarkets, so you should be happy with that sub-50% rise.
FYI the same bottle can be bought from some US supermarkets for under US$30 + sales tax (which is zero in states eg Oregon).
“Duty free” shops sell spirits at higher prices than US supermarkets do.
You’ll be seeing a lot about Australia’s excise tax on spirits in the media this week. The rate has just gone to $101.8 per LAA. What that means is that a 700ml bottle of anything at 40%. That’s about $28 in tax. On a bottle of standard vodka you could buy in Dan’s for $35, $26 is tax.
Disgraceful. Again slugging consumers when most big companies and hyper rich pay zero tax.
I went to Langkawi recently where it’s proper duty free, not like the airport where it;s duty free with massive airport markup. A litre of Bombay gin was about $25 compared to more than twice that at Tulla.
I’ve fled Melbourne. My emergency medicinal stash is getting a workout. Music, Jamo and quiet contemplation of life is the go tonight.
The way it’s going, I’m gonna have to restock the medicine cupboard before I depart again.
Easily my favourite of the general , bulk made whiskey’s.
Jameson’s is our ‘go to’ whiskey - at home and away. Often finish the evening with a little snifter.
Warms the cockles of your heart.
A Daiquiri, a sling, two children’s toys, a British bake off book and a couple of episodes of the night manager. Pretty good!
Booze is made for drinking. Give em a go!
