Dunkley to take us to the promised land (at a later date)

Do you think he would ever contemplate coming to us now? Doubt it

Im ok with this.

I wanted Dunkley as much as anyone, but not at any price. It would have been 2 X top 10 picks.

Back ourselves to find someone better at 6,7,8 or next year’s first round.

We’re stacked with picks and we can build from here.

Dunkley isn’t Danger or Judd. Glad we didn’t get bent over.

Sackable in my opinion

I hear Mitch Hibberd goes alright

Bryce Gibbs, Tim Kelly and Orazio Fantasia say ā€œhiā€

I don’t know the answer to that.
We can’t predict the future.

I’m just glad we didn’t pay a stupid price, which is what the Bulldogs list manager was intimating that it would take.

I love the idea of Dunkley but not for two top #10 picks

Except we gave up Port’s 2020 2nd rounder as well. Probably fair, but not THAT much of a bargain.

and our salary cap would be in pretty good shape as well.

not taking dunkley probably helps us get another good pick next year.

not exactly what we wanted…but probably what we needed.

Probably didn’t need the draft pick which was pretty high

ohh didn’t realise 29 as well oh well it probably gets eaten up in brand bid anyway

Essendon sent pick No.29 and its future second-round selection to GWS in exchange for Caldwell, pick No.44 and No.74.

could have given it back to us or the cats.
