Dyson supporting VSK Treadmill Challenge

A few years back I had the privilege of meeting some members of the Burnet family. Rich worked at Essendon from 2009 to 2014, and two of his sons, Seb and Charlie, had been diagnosed with an incredibly rare disease, Multiple Sulfatase Deficiency.

Very Special Kids have been providing amazing support to the family, and for the past few years, a “Seb and Charlie” team have taken part in the 24 hour treadmill challenge, where team members took turns to keep a treadmill moving for 24 hours. The year I took part my shifts ended up being in the very early hours of the morning, but I was amazed at the energy and feeling of goodwill even at that time!!

This year, our captain Dyson Heppell will be doing a shift on the treadmill. If anyone can spare a few dollars towards supporting Very Special Kids to continue doing their incredible work, that would be fantastic!
