You can now do this!

My Settings > Profile Information > Member Title

Not sure why it took me so long to find. Enjoy!

Side note: When you click your username it should no longer hide half the options underneath the forum content on the right.

I was looking for that for ages. I must have used it initially, but for the life of me couldn't find it again. Thanks.

I kept everyone’s titles from the old board but have just never enabled editing for users on the new one.

I think I disabled it when we were setting up the new config, but I forgot to re-enable it.

 

FTR: normal site content rules apply. Don't put anything stupid or offensive in there

make sure  you've got the swear filter for the member titles turned on this time!
