EFC clothing discussions (2019 onwards)

Geelong have never had anything but Ford on the jumper, front and back.

NIB only ever on their shorts.

My fashionista of a wife says she likes the potential clash jersey and would buy it. Job done!

Who has been after the black sash on red jumper? Do you mean fans or the club, as the club has never said that to my knowledge. The red sash, as you stated, is written in the club’s constitution. (Not that it matters to the afl).

Was at the shop this morning buying an AFLW jumper. Yes the shop is tiny and I think it is also kind of awkward that you can only get in through the cafe.

There are a gazillion Amart-branded guernseys on sale, mostly Anzac and Dreamtime ones. I think they were 50 bucks. Training gear was also pretty heavily discounted, although I don’t know how much of that is simply the time of year.

All the full price stuff I saw was Fujitsu on the front and Airstage on the back.

They did not have any clash strips with the two black stripe design floating around here.

Is said jumper now signed by Dani?

Affirmative.

No… many fans have suggested to just invert the jumper colours and be done with it, after all the crap they have been dishing up since its inception.
Richmond and Collingwood have done just this.

At the end of the day, it matters little to me tbh. I’m kinda curious as to what they do, but no biggie.
The “must be a black jumper” constitution rule has long gone, we’ve worn grey and red jumpers as clash designs so it hasn’t bothered the club too much.

I think the seatbelt kinda blew any illusion I had left about the “constitution” being a meaningful thing.

And it is pretty clear the AFLW side with the rainbow sashes and stuff is also not terribly bound by it either.

I guess I feel like the toothpaste is already well and truly out of the tube now, so why fight it anymore.

Just saw this one of the nuffie groups. Have no idea what it is or what thread it goes in. Could it be a new sponsor ?

Melbourne Jet Base. That has something to do with Paul Little, right?

You’d think so. Wouldn’t surprise me if the clash jumper leak is retail stock, which they need to mass produce well before the season starts, and there is a co-Major sponsor announced and the player issue jumpers will have both sponsors, not just Fujitsu/Airstage.

Yep a Paul little chaired company.

Surely we aren’t replacing amart with farking Melbourne Jet base.

But it would really fit our team well with you know the plane they wanted to get rid of

Melbourne Jet Base just provides good close up pics of players and planes.

At 8:45am on a Monday morning, it has probably been selected for the on-site barista as much as anything.
