must admit i havent read the story, and im sure its a great thing where she has given away some money or cars or a givensome a hand up. all well and good.
but, i imagine its never out of their own pocket, some sponsor has had to pay for it, knowing full well theyll get it back in spades through publicity and re tweets etc. hows about just quietly slipping someone 50K out of your own pocket anonymously?

The cars was Oprah. And the 'winners' had to pay tax on them as they were classed as 'prizes' not 'gifts'. So yeah, they're all in for helping out the needy. They can both go and f--k off.
