EPL 2016/17 Thread

Bernardo Silva signs for Man City.

Wish those carnts would fark off.

Meanwhile we are being linked with Ivan Perisic for an astronomical fee even though he was purchased for peanuts 12 months ago and is a bang average player IMO.

Some fair departures from City. Cilchy, Zabaleta (just signed for West Ham), Sagna, Caballero and Jesus Navas all leaving. Sounds like a ruthless culling is taking place, Pep not messing about.

Cannot be denied wenger has won some kind of silverware 3 times in 4 years.

But w.t.f went wrong in the dressing room 12 weeks ago? Sanchez cracked it. The whole team fell apart for 2 months.

Huddersfield beat Reading for promotion after trailing in the shootout.

Nil all draw after Huddersfield missed two sodas in the first ten minutes and another later.

Mooy scored his penalty. Be interesting to see what City do with him.

Can’t see where he gets games when you consider the world-class players they have, and the likely big money signings that will come in. Huddersfield or any mid-lower PL team would do well to sign him, and at the end of the day it would be good business by City if they can get around 10 Mill for him.

Tommy Roglic must be set from a move from Celtic - He should attract serious interest from other European Leagues.

SPL = English Championship. Probably in a similar boat to Mooy. Newly promoted Premier League, mid-low table PL or promotion-chasing Championship club would be about his level. He wouldn’t play for too many clubs bigger than Celtic so he probably should stay there for the time being unless he really develops and can make a big move.

Tuchel quits Dortmund.

Apparently he was given the sack because he didn’t get on with the board.

He did a lot for them this season, surprised to see him go.

Wenger back in for 2 more years lol

Personally don’t mind it. You can’t have the players running the show, not a good look.

They need to allow him to spend

Arsenal haha

Liverpool sign solanke from Chelsea, ÂŁ3m

Wow he is the absolute definition of a Scania

Saw a doco last night on the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions, the Celtic team which was the first British team to win the Champions Cup (or whatever it’s called).

10 of the 11 Celtic players grew up within 10 miles of Parkhead and the 11th was born 30 miles away on the cost. You wouldn’t get anything like that now, except in non-league clubs.

The guy who scored the winner had been diagnosed with meningeal tuberculosis and given 3 weeks to live, but a Glasgow doctor, a Rangers fan, tried a new treatment and he recovered.

Atletico Bilbao, the best of the Basque clubs in Spain, would be close

And they still have a Basque’s only policy to this day - Think it must change some day.
