EPL 2024/25

There was Chiesa talk, is it that?

Victor Osimhen is the name that keeps getting mentioned.

Overrated IMO and injury prone. Just not consistent enough for me. Maybe the EPL will bring out the best of him

I hadn’t heard Osimhen. Chiesa had me lukewarm at the thought, but an upgrade nonetheless. Toney has been another name thrown around, but linked with many.

I’ve been pretty happy with Forests business so far. Sorry to see Niakhate depart, but we seemed to solve the PSR issues, offloaded an unwanted GK, cut some dead wood and have brought in some pretty targetted players, including Anderson who looks a promising investment in the midfield and can also play out wide if needed. Still need another winger and a striker to cover for Awoniyi’s seemingly unending injury troubles.

Early preseason reports suggest that Sangarê is vastly improved on last season, where he returned from AFCON with malaria. If he becomes a real point of control as a DM then our structure will be so much better.

And best of all, we have (currently) retained all of Murillo, Gibbs-White, Elanga, Williams etc. After so many incoming players and frantic signings over the last two offseasons - understandable to some extent, especially in year 1 - we need to settle the squad and build some continuity.

Only a friendly but always good to touch up Man U.

There’s some pleasing signs there, the passing play is really good. You can see why Jones and Elliott said what they did. I think one or two decent signings is all we need, the young talent at the club is ridiculous.

de ligt heading to united

edit: also mazraoui to united too but dependent on wan bissaka passing medical at stallions mob

Got to be the worst ever United kit. Apparently Liverpool will be back with Adidas as of next season and if that’s the ■■■■ they’re designing I’d rather us stick with Nike…

I like whatever asics designs.

amad passes up a clear shot on goal for a cut back

Dominic Solanke has completed his move to Spurs. Done really well for Bournemouth and deserves his move. Brentford have also agreed a £27.5 million deal for Liverpool youngster Fabio Carvalho. Thought he may have stayed given he looked really good pre-season under the new manager. The fee is an initial £20M with £7.5M in add-ons and a 17.5% sell-on clause. Fulham also pocket 20% of the fee given their agreement when they sold him to us.

Still no new signings for Liverpool, the only PL club to not have brought anyone in, although Martin Zubimendi is being heavily linked with us.

Hammers spending big time. No one can put the blame on Sullivan this season that’s for sure.
