Forest earn a 1-0 away win @ Southampton
From all accounts dominated the Saints, will watch the replay later today
An OK start to the season and a welcome distraction from Essendon

It would be so Everton to go down just before moving into a new stadium. Stop teasing us and do it this year Toffees!

Absolutely battered them and could easily have - probably should have - been 3 or 4 in the net.

Danilo injury upsets things a bit, but signs that Sangare is finding the PL pace , finally.

It was “only” Southampton, who are going to struggle you’d think, but away wins for us are like hens teeth so I’ll happily take that.

No minutes for Nketiah at Arsenal again. Very likely he’s on the move. But to Everton or Forest? Or somewhere else?

I just wish we would get a top-class out-and-out striker.

Overnight, Bournemouth and Newcastle a 1-1 draw, Chelsea put 6 past Wolves at Molineux, and Arne Slot’s debut at Anfield sees Liverpool run out comfortable 2-0 winners. Diaz and Salah the scorers. Solid at the back, some delightful passing and 2 really good finishes. :ok_hand:

Just saw some Liverpool highlights. Jeez, they looked fast and not afraid to shoot. Fans must like what they see so far.

Most pleasing thing for me is 2 clean sheets. Seem a bit more organised at the back, Konate has been impressive, 2nd half v Ipswich when he replaced Quansah and then the full game v Brentford. Gravenberch is doing well at the base of the midfield. Luis Diaz looks sharp, and Salah keeps on keeping on. Slot has shown in a very short space of time that he knows what he’s doing. Even without any signings thus far, I like what I’m seeing!

Highway robbery getting that amount of cash for him

Hannibal off to Burnley as well. If INEOS are able to sell Sancho before Friday I’d say it’s a pretty good start getting rid of some of the dead wood from the club.

I’m not a huge fan…… but he scores goals.

That’s what they’re paying for.

Doesn’t he only have a year to go on his contract?
It’s a big price to pay for a player of his calibre considering

Yeah, but it’s more likely than not that Man United would re-sign him to another contract.

hes been at the club 22 years (academy + playing career)
