We got the same with Sullivan and Sullivan jr. Both want to be director of football as well as owners.
Yep. Marinakis jnr thinks he’s playing football manager at times, has tried to be involved in recruiting etc.
Usually Senior blows his top at the Refs, the FA, the EPL . But it’s absolutely absurd - and damaging - that he’s having on-pitch altercations with a manager who has us in Europe for next season. Ffs, we barely avoided relegation 11 months ago. Keep it behind closed doors, at very least.
Ange is gone regardless of what he does in Europe.
He will go and move to a better job with a trophy under his arm. Spurs are toxic, best for him to leave.
That I can’t argue with. Just hope he leaves with a trophy that would be just crazy considering how putrid Spurs have been.
Forest year this year under Nuno mirrors Wolves 5 years ago, the similarities are incredible. Essentially, we qualified for Europa after finishing 7th, it was the greatest (I even got to attend a home match at Molineux with my family during that season, a win). In Europa we performed admirably with Neves, Jota, Jimenez, Moutinho - we were quality and ended up losing in the Quarters to the eventual champions, Sevilla 1-0. Our depth was tested in that season as we also made the Semi’s of the FA cup (and should’ve made the final). We finished 7th in that season also but missed Europe (there was no Conference league back then).
Ultimately our owners, Fosun, didn’t back the team and Nuno wasn’t happy and left. He doesn’t put up with any crap. I think he’s a great manager but had limitations back then, I believe he’s grown as a manager.
The simple fact is though, we didn’t have the depth. A few injuries and we struggled - aka Forest.
Enjoy the ride IMHO, they were great years following Wolves and I will cherish them for the rest of my life.
West Ham are proper ■■■■■. They only beat United away by 2 goals
“How s#it you must be, we’re winning away” was just of the songs from the traveling faithful.
Bro had Hammers winning 2-0 in his multi
Palace get it done in the FA Cup Final.
Eat ■■■■ City you pack of ■■■■■■■ cheats.
A major trophy is generally a dream for the lesser teams. I never thought I’d see one.
What a win!
Big ol’ night in South London incoming.
Newcastle won first trophy for 70 years, Crystal Palace first major trophy, hoping Spurs can do it as well so that Ange can walk away from Spurs
Great result. Watched the first half but nodded off and didn’t see the full-time result until now. Well done Palace, gonna be a fair old celebration at Anfield last day. The PL Champions v the FA Cup winners, and we will meet again for the Charity Shield in August!
Spuds and manure both going down, probably laying down.
Just re-read the Europe qualifying, gee it’s really something, but all eyes are on Chelsea now - and How they go in the Conference league and against Forest in the final game.
Forest v Chelsea will be a cracker. Who would’ve thought this at the start of the season.
Hendo had pep on tilt
Awoniyi recovering after induced coma and surgery. Good to hear, but what an absurd chain of events.
Results not going Forests way.
Must win tonight and then Chelsea for a PL chance.
Think Europa would be a win at this point.
Forest look good in the first half and weak after the substitutions. Hopefully, better with Hudson Odoi to come back vs Chelsea. Sels big at the end, as always.
Arsenal can really help us out with a W, now.
