He’s only 16, but we’ve got a serious player on our hands with Rio Ngumoha. He’s scored in all our pre-season fixtures to date, his goal this morning against Athletic Club shows this lad is ready to have an impact this season. Might be part of the reason why we decided to sell Diaz.

Honestly, Darwizzy was always going to go. Three seasons was enough. Another one and he’d have outworn his welcome. It didn’t work out as hoped but he leaves a PL winner. I’d rather us get another centre half in than Isak.

I think he’s a great talent and has world-class potential. Whether Man U is the right club for him to be at to get the best out of himself is a separate question, but to me he has all the attributes you’d want of a modern forward.

Romano claiming that McAtee to Forest is close to done. Player has agreed, clubs thrashing out transfer details.
He does seem fairly typical of our recent strategies , find a younger , talented player with good realistic upside potential for later sell-on . City obviously haven’t been an easy team to break into so McAtee might be quite a bit better with opportunity. England Under 21 International captain and very skilled midfielder. Makes a lot of sense.
