United lead at Anfield in the first minute but Liverpool looking to hit back and have had some chances. Been a pretty entertaining game so far
I feel like I’ve been caught with my pants down with a $3 hooker, cheering for Manure to win.
Cmon Utd show some farkin backbone, turn ya season around.
Farkin yes slabby you star
Hold on now please
+8 far out
That’ll do
I somehow thought this match would be the late one. Another bad result, once again Slot’s team selection and substitutions being questioned. In a massive hole, it won’t be an easy fix.
Something isnt right at all
Arise Sir Harry Maguire!
Liverpool look lethargic, they are going downhill fast and look very broken Arne Slot is in big trouble they are no longer a threat in the title race
The big issue has been midfield. Mac Allister looks a shell of the player he was last season. We are getting overrun through there. Up front it looks clunky. Ekitike is probably a better fit for what we want from a #9 yet we go and spend £130M on Isak. I’m sure he will hit his straps in time but I’d have thought money would’ve been better spent on signing a direct replacement for Luis Diaz.
Marvelous day to breathe air
Ange was photographed signing autographs for fans while sitting in his car after getting the tin tack. Most said it was a nice touch considering.
The Sword of (Big) Samocles
The last 2 man United performances, it just seemed to click into place.
The team looks a lot more assured in their positioning and performing how Amorim wants.
But having a competent goalkeeper who instructs the defenders, is just imperative.
The challenge now is consistency. We have always had it in us to get a result against the best teams but must now put in a performance next week to really see if the team can develop winning habits and mentality.
Reports that Silva is now the main target . Ffs, always should have been.
But……but all of this goes back to the arrival of Edu and the conflict with Nuno. Utter madness to undo all the great work from last season before we’d even kicked a ball, and it’s still not clear why. There might be a cautionary tale for Essendon in the strange sequence of events around MGW being kept at the club. Everything about the off-season seemed unsettled and far from ideal. 8 games into the season, two managers sacked and sitting in the relegation fight completely needlessly. The only positive is that for the right coach , the injury to Murillo aside, I actually think it’s a decent squad and there are 30 games in which to settle and find some momentum.
I think I mentioned a whole back in this thread that of my main three club sporting teams that I have a decent interest in, the most calm and rationally run is currently the Charlotte Hornets!! Ridiculous to say.
Looks like you got Sean Dyche coming in. Your gaffer is as bad as Sullivan our gaffer.
Yep, agree there jono .. Lammens looks the goods.
And having a unit like Mbeumo up there was a good signing. He was what was needed.
Liverpool hadn’t lost 4 in a row for years.
