EPL 2025/26

Hammers completely outplayed at home and lose to Brentford 0-2. Should/could have been a lot more. Nuno must be thinking WTF have I got into here.

Dyche confirmed as new Forest manager.

Sean Dyche appointed at Forest.

This will be interesting . Viewed recently as an astute relegation-avoiding-mr-fixit but he had some outright excellent years at Burnley. On a very tight budget. Half the battle at Forest is winning over the fans, and he is a local / former player.

I’m looking forward to seeing him for the next month or 2 before he gets sacked

the battle is win games
gotta get our squad working
otherwise fans always gonna be fansing

seems like the squad didnt like ange so at least they should be in a good space

I think Marinakis in the 15 years of owning Olympiakos has hired and fired 24 different managers. He’s obviously not afraid to make that call if necessary.

I really feel for Ange, it was the perfect storm in terms of the likelihood of it being a short tenure. Being brought into a club after that start of the season, inheriting a playing group and being asked to play a style of football that was a compete 180 from his predecessor, with a trigger happy owner.

And some players would’ve gone off for 10 days or so for international break too? Gotta be hard to implement a plan.

And with a couple of Forest old boys as assistant coaches Stony & Woany

I vaguely recall the Steve Stone chant “Stevie Stone he’s got no hair but we don’t care”

I’ve had every EPL supporting mate contact me to say “you were right Ange wasn’t a good fit”

I dunno what EM was thinking TBH

Anyway Euro tie Thursday night then the new gaffer better aim to keep some clean sheet in the EPL

Yeah, felt like it was a terrible decision. He was “buying high”, after that stellar season. He was replacing a top manager who the team had been built for, with the opposite playing philosophy, with no preparation with the team. Always felt like a big ask.

Salah is off and the defence isn’t so good. Last year they had a stellar injury run, but Salah still carried them. But he’s been off this year.

Forest get it done 2-0 at home against FC Porto in the Europa League

Technically not the EPL, but new gaffer gets a win - something Ange wasn’t able to manage

Hopefully we can build some momentum in the Premier League

1st clean sheet in many many games. It was key to our success last year.

Can’t win games when we’re leaking goals

No surprise. Dyche’s style is a lot more aligned to Nuno’s than Big Ange. Why you’d appoint someone looking for a totally different style of play, with players he’s had no say in signing, and not expect there to be teething problems is puzzling to say the least.

Arsenal are not getting rid of Arteta any time soon, but Ange, with his attack at all costs style, might be a lot better suited to them.

(Not Premier league related) Watching this Plymouth fan is like watching blue abroad fancams he shouts and starts ranting very aggresively after Plymouths 2-0 defeat to Exeter. Blimey doesn‘t he blow off when he goes on one

(Sorry the video doesn’t work on here as it’s age restricted)

Leeds take the chocolates 2-1 against the Hammers. Heard a rumour that Nuno has put money on himself to get the sack quicker than Ange. Another weird line up.

What a heist by sunderland

Ref Taylor not a Utd fan?
