Liverpool 2-0 down at Brentford. Looking awful all over the park.
Lifeline from Kerkez 2-1 Brentford
Best thing he’s done for us. He’s been rubbish defensively and a long way from what he produced at Bournemouth. He’s like Alberto Moreno, complete space cadet.
Season just about done already. Similar pattern to our last title defence
Bit too early imo to be making calls like this but I’ll enjoy the rare good form for now while it lasts. The Poo losing again is certainly making it sweeter!
The ice on which Slot is standing must be rapidly thinning.
To spend as much as we have and look this bad will eventually require some repercussions.
Cooked!
Geez, fair results to wake up to. Arsenal and City can get a jump on the comp perhaps. Sunderland are going seriously well.
That Brighton free kick outside the box was a complete joke.
The ref had let those go all game, for much worse.
Should have been a comfortable 3-0 win…. Absolute joke of a free kick, when the ball was already in the goalkeepers hands.
To be fair our third goal shouldn’t have been allowed though. Clearly the better side though so will take the win
The Cunha and Mbuemo partnership is looking sensational early on.
Having inverted wingers, who are strong over the ball, have the pace to get behind and can finish……. It’s about f*cking time. If Sesko can start taking his chances, then that final third is in great shape
Much improved on th attack but still worried about our defensive limitations at times and how suspect we look at set pieces. Hopefully we can tighten up a bit but far better start to the season than I thought we would see so far
Alot of the defensive issues are midfield problems imo.
Casemiro gets found out for pace too often. He was excellent last night, but against good teams he’s a liability. Ugarte is even worse.
I also think Shaw and Dalot are huge issues on the left. And Martinez is never available.
So far Lammens has been a massive upgrade as well. At the moment I don’t feel like every shot on target against us is going to go in.
While that’s probably true, he’d been letting those ones go for both teams all game
Amorim seems to love Shaw. I’m not quite sure why.
But the players are beginning to play like a team. We probably needed the break from Europe to improve there.
Not likely. ![]()

Forest time. Can we get the fk out of relegation zone?
Yep, more time on the training track has paid off for sure.
Even just the amount one touch flicks to feet in tight. It tells you the creative chemistry is building.
