EPL 2025/26

We played a bit better and probably deserved a draw but that was a really soft goal to concede. Bayinder has to kill the contest there

Yes the result sucked but thought we played pretty well. Once again, it was our goalkeeper that cost us the game. The owners just simply can’t go into another season with Onana and Bayindir as our goalkeepers again.

Exactly. Feels like every goal Arsenal have scored against us the last 2-3 years has been the same.

Honestly I’m surprised more hasn’t been made of the Arsenal goal. To me it should’ve been chalked off due to goalie interference. All Saliba was trying to do was obstruct him, and in that instance if you aren’t making the ball your primary focus and all you’re looking to achieve is to block the keeper, it should be a foul.

If United can find stability behind Cunha, Mbeumo, Sesko and support them properly they’ll become a good and dangerous team.

And the huge shirt pull on mount

And the missed penalty.

Would think stoke wirh a billion dollar budget wouldn’t have looked so average against us

I didn’t have a problem with it. Keeper needs to be stronger and clatter into them.
United keepers of late must have trained with Essendon defenders. Too scared to come out, knees up and fist the ball, any collateral damage is a bonus

He downed tools for us. Just a shame he went to the spuds. :frowning:

Forest could really do with another option at left back if Tsimikas is really departing Liverpool as a loan or transfer. But if he’s leaving due to lack of opportunity, would he come here to maybe be the starting back up again to Neco Williams?

Must keep Murilo Milan and Williams fresh.

These guys were gallant all season but tired. Add Europe and you gotta feel we need more swinging d’s.

We definitely do but it’ll be interesting to see who they are. Rico Lewis was rumoured too , but that looks extremely unlikely.

Have to agree with Aceman as well. The keeper just has to be stronger in these situations and it’s not the first time other teams have targeted our keepers with a set piece. There was a play where DeLigt was doing the exact same thing on Raya with one of our set pieces and he was able to get a strong fist on the ball and clear the ball away. It doesn’t look like we are going to find a replacement for this season anyway, so both Onana and Bayindir just have to work on this part of their game and get better otherwise it’s going to cost us throughout the season.

Oh dear. ManU not off to a good start, but then again not a great start to the season by the Gunners. Damp squib of a game.

Soon we’ll be saying can they do it on a cold rainy day at the emirates

Watched the Weekend Wrap. Nice of Stan or whoever to screw with the format and look like they want to ruin my favourite show each week. If I wanted to watch goal highlights with three people (+ host + guy at ground) talking about the latest trends for the big clubs I’d just have watched the goals highlights package and that Wrighty show. I know the weekend wrap didn’t do a great job discussing every match but at least they did a little. And they’d actually talk about what went on actually on the pitch with a little more depth. Backed up by footage analysis.

very upsetting.

The Ev getting battered by Leeds but still scoreless. Only just got their first shot away in the 55th minute.

This is supposedly the net spending on transfers so far , as of Sunday. So before Forest announced Kalimuendo, for example. Bournemouth is interesting, they’ve actually spent upwards of 80 million but have sold off some serious playing stock. Sunderland might give Forests Season 1 spend a nudge too.

Harsh pen, even after VAR I thought it was harsh on Everton. He leant into it which is probably why it stands, happy to take it.

Overall leeds was the worthy winner with the amount of ball we had but it is clear we are crying out for a creative mid/wing.

Looked pretty solid defensively although Everton were pretty ordinary. If we can transfer in an attack in the last 2 weeks of the window we might be ok.

Also thankful that Jordan Pickfords t-Rex arms stopped him from saving the penalty.
