Chelsea apparently want guaranteed minutes in the loan clause for Mudryk. Leeds couldn’t guarantee that so not sure how Spurs can given their attacking options.
I’m not too disappointed not getting Mudryk. He hasn’t played for a long time, his finishing has never been great, and Farke rightfully so doesn’t guarantee playing time for anyone.
A LB backup has just been signed. We have less than 24 hours to find a LW/AM and a striker. I was really annoyed how cheaply Ueda went for and thought we should have been all over that.
Do we have one last crack at Paixao? At this point I’m starting to think this guy is a figment of our imagination, a bit like Santa and the easter bunny.

Mental price. Proper sliding door moment when Chelsea hijacked our Mudryk buy in that January window and we quickly had to pivot and brought in Trossard. Rest is history.

Yeah, DeZerbi needs to cool his jets on their past working together and look at where he’s at now.
We really need a back up striker. If Calvert-Lewin got injured we would be in a bit of trouble.
Paixao I’m not massively keen on as he didn’t want to play for us last season. But he would be a decent upgrade.
