We lost to FARK CARLTON. Rage away blitz, rage away!
Is it not raining most the day in Melbs?
most of the daylight hours, yes. And your point?
Langford played on Pendles last time he won Anzac medal.
Or have rules for some, but not for others?
Clubs and players always bang on about wanting to be ruthless competitors, hard teams to play against etc, yet we canāt say a senior player has been omitted? Please. Anyway, Iāve wasted enough of everyoneās time with this trivial issue!
little bit of night rain aswell but the bureau could be inaccurate
Nah. Not seeing much rain at all after about ~5pm. In fact reckon weāre a chance to get through the entire game without a drop. There absolutely will not be enough rain for the balls to become water logged. Greasy underfoot perhaps but not diabolical conditions, given how well the ground drains.
Good news is that the rain is largely contracting to during the daylight hours and we may get through tonight without any. Probably still a bit greasy under footy, especially if we get the ~5-10mm forecast.
I reckon thatās bad news. Our only chance is probably in the rain as strange as that sounds.
Greasy under foot is basically last weekās conditions where we shouldāve lost to a poor carlton side by 10 goals

we didnāt lose because it was greasy underfoot last week. We lost because weād played 1 game in 13 weeks. No touch, no match conditioning. I donāt necessarily think weāll win tonight, we wont, but weāll be better for last weeks run. The team is crying out for some continuity.

I get your point on 1 game in 13 weeks but im not saying that caused an insipid performance.
Itās the same old crap from us.
What lost us was no hunger for the contest, bombing it to smalls, going long down the line every. single. time with barely any tall targets, and allowing an opposition loose behind the ball kill us (has happened for over a decade)
We better ā ā ā ā ā ā ā win.
Iām not sure the server will hold up during first qtr tonight
Collingwood are a quick starting team so we have to be so much more switched on from the start compared to last week

Iām really unclear how someone would think saying Managed on a Team sheet rather than Omitted somehow means non ruthless, or non hard to play against.
Thatās a bit of a stretch mate, ⦠as you said yourself,. itās āTrivialā
nk saying Managed on a Team sheet rather than Omitted somehow means non ruthless, or non hard to play against .
Bellyās managed as he is obviously sore, and was not doing full training, but last weeks performance was terrible. Just hope Phillips isnt in for 1 game then dropped again, big task this week.
They are both just filling in time until Sammy Draper is fit and ready IMO.
Then we will ahve something in the ruck to get excited about, not since Ryder was kicking 50m bananas. from the boundry line
Give Hurley the task on De Goey.
Iām sick of him playing on no names as it just doesnāt seem to work
We lost to Carlton by only ONE POINT and thatās one of the very reasons WHY we remain mediocre, a loss is a loss is a loss.
