Ess v Coll Friday 3/7/20 - Where's the team?

ZAKAS LAST STAND

FRIDAY NIGHT, WHOCARES OVAL, GONNA GET THRASHED

McKenna next week surely

Spotted that too. Was thinking they might bring in McKenna forward and play Raz of half back. He was good in that spot against Melbourne last year and has been MIA froward this year so might get him involved.

I still really enjoy people looking at the selection sheet on a Thursday and instantly assuming that the position a player is listed in there is definitely where they will start on the day and spend the entire game playing in.

At least Zaka will/should see wayyy more footy off the HBF as itā€™ll be down there a lot

Heā€™s gotta be hanging on by skin of his teeth though

This yearā€¦

HFF - no good
Wing - no good
HBF - Essentially awaiting McKenna in next week

And was saved from going out earlier by Raz being held back a week and then Hep injury.

Iā€™m looking forward to seeing Zaharakis pad his stats from the HB line

Itā€™s good to see the coaches show some faith in Ham though, hope the kid has a better day out than he did against the Bluesers

Theyā€™ve picked it pretty true this year, according to the Richmond naming:

Tall back
Small back

Every small fwd battled and heā€™s not even really one. Is a midfielder. Huge possession and tackle numbers in SANFL.

Hopefully given wet day and fact we battled for winning clearances/contested footy they send him up field more often.

Was training with mid group on the live vid

McKenna should be in.

If there is any doubt, Iā€™m glad theyā€™re playing it safe.

Would rather that, than risk a soft tissue injury.

Agreed he is too important for us

Had fark all footy/training and freezing cold July night the risk of a pinged string would be not worth it.

Didnā€™t McKenna get 30 odd touches at 700% efficiency last time against these plebs?

Guess heā€™ll be a late in for Orazio.

Three times available this year, three times overlooked. Heā€™s finished top 10 in te b&f the past two seasons, is one of the fittest players at the club, had 27 kicks last time we played Collingwood and single-handedly makes our butt-ugly playing style easier to watch and more entertaining. He missed two training sessions and went into the club on his own for a running session as soon as he was out of isolation. He must be incredibly frustrated.

Honestly three average games against sides that arenā€™t that good. Canā€™t see us Geting close to the pies

Heā€™s not listed as an emergency.

Walla had a great game against the Pies last time though.
