Ess v Coll Friday 3/7/20 - Where's the team?

Didn’t notice Conor at all in either the training video the club posted or either of the announcement videos for Hibberd and Phillips.

I hope he is ok and didn’t pull up sore from training yesterday.

My only hope is the team seems to lift when they playing against a good side but yeah if Pies get off to the flyer it’s game over.

We don’t get it inside fifty enough…and when we do we can’t kick a decent score

Watch Raz come out late againest collingwood.
He hasn’t played them the last 2 years if im not wrong

Tommy being managed, is club speak for when a senior player is dropped.

WTF is McKenna?

Interestingly I reckon this year is the first time in years that they’re largely picking players in the position they end up playing

if you could kindly

Sad to see players don’t have to show any accountability…coaches don’t set the standsrds…so they continuously put in bad performances.

Then find another team to support and take your negative Bulllshit somewhere else.

It’s another sign of the ■■■■ poor culture at the club that (a) the senior players aren’t man enough to handle being dropped and (b) the club panders to that

I think it’s worse than that, he was 100% playing if not pulling up sore and more crippled than usual

I reckon it’s three years. I think Raz’s last game against the Pies was in July 2017 when he kicked five. On Anzac Day 2017 I think he kicked four.

People seemingly want to see a smack down like its some punishment and they should sit in the naughty corner

They’d already know full well where they stood

I’m fine with how these things play out at EFC. I’m sure other clubs would do similar. These are long time servants of the club and all players come to the end eventually.

If it’s dealt with respectfully at times like the “managed” or “dropped himself” calls so be it.

Earlier this year on ‘Don Air’ I think Raz said that he reckons Maynard would have a sleepless night before playing on him.

Yep I agree I think TBC has been a ruck stalwart who has been serviceable but whose journey has now come to an end. He can become ruck coach (if the soft cap allows this) at the end of the year and that’s it. Bring on younger, more mobile rucks who can lift us to flag 17.

‘Cause he might catch Covid?

Phillips has some very, very skinny pants to fill.

Make me

I’d rather we stick with The Russian as a ruck coach.

Maybe Belly can give some pointers to Conor about how to pick up a nice Aussie girl
