Inspired from @Backyard_Bomber “bag the opposition” threads, i thought it’d be appropriate to have a thread dedicated to some of the pearler things we have heard from the club.

I need to see the light hearted side of some of the things we have said over the time. Ill begin with this easy one

Adrian (Dodoro) and Brad (Scott) came to me with a very clear plan and thoughts on how they want things to look and work, and that role really excited me and made me think it could work for me,” Goldstein said.

Because you mentioned it specifically, the 2019 off season:
“We ended up getting Tom Cutler from the Brisbane Lions and we’re really excited to get Tom, we think he’s going to be a great acquisition for our team. He’s a big-bodied mid, he has got great speed, great endurance, he’s a long kick and he’s at exactly the right age demographic for what we’re looking for."
“Jacob (Townsend) will provide us with a really hard edge. He is a player that is really combative, and we felt that we needed these attributes in our line-up. Jacob has the ability to apply pressure in our forward line, but we are also confident that he can play inside as a big-bodied midfielder.”
“Mitch (Hibberd) is a premier player in the VFL competition, he is a big inside midfielder, has outstanding endurance and deserves an opportunity. Throughout this whole period we were looking for a ready-made inside midfielder and we believe we have found one in Mitch. We believe Mitch’s impact on the side will be immediate.”
And of course Brasher, going into 2021
