That’s why I don’t get the crap that Wimbledon got when it banned Russian Belarus players but no major crap when Eurovision kicked them out.

Europeans have this wonderful knack for branding something fair when it’s so politically ■■■■■■ even us plebs can see the corruption. Fair play to them. The hundreds of millions toe the company line

Yep went from top 10 down to 15th lmao

Let’s put this into context:

Maldova and Estonia beat us… Estonia!

Yeah, but the Estonian cowboy was hot.

Lets bring out a country boy with a dad bod and Mullet

So far looking back at our 7 year journey and in order of best performer to Worst:
1st place Dami Im - Sound of Silence (2nd Eurovision)
2nd Place Guy Sebastian - Tonight Again (5th at Eurovision)
equal 3rd Isaiah Firebrace and Kate Miller-Heidke (9th @ Eurovision)
4th Place Sheldon Riley - Not the Same (15th @ Eurovision)
5th Place Jessica Mauboy - We got Love (20th @Eurovision)

6th Place Montaigne- Technicolour - Failed to qualify

With 2023 being our final year of the 5 year offer from Eurovision who should we send to show them we are worthy of another 5 years?

I reckon we should make a godfather offer to:
Darren Hayes
Aussie Favourite and big in Europe. The former Savage Garden Frontman knows how to make a belter of a song.

Tina Arena
Another artist big in Europe.

Jimmy Barnes/Cold Chisel
Would be a great Aussie Rock group

AC/DC

Bow out on a high

Darren or Tina would work, JB etc would only get votes from Finland.
