Ex #33 Brayden Ham - sliced

I know Melbourne wanted him so there must be something there to work with.

I swear he’s got nudes of Sheedy or something

So did PJ. That’s why he sacked (not sacked) Sheedy

I haven’t seen Ham do even that

Wow this joint has absolutely lost me!!!

To think Richmond supporters had a bad name for microwaving their memberships in the 90s!! You lot put them to shame for eating their own.

I feel embarrassed.

I hope the kid ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  in your face tomorrow arvo.

Good luck Brayden.
You’re a Bomber who’s down at the moment and I may be alone but I’m backing you in.

Yes, I really used to enjoy this place but frankly, it’s turned feral

Terrible decision. If he’s in our best 26 players we are struggling as a club. I’m not taking anything away from him - he has played AFL football which is more than most or all of us - but he has no AFL attributes and will always be a good VFL player but not an AFL player. The game day thread will blow up all the time he doesn’t go hard enough or panics with the ball etc and as usual that will happen often. I was always small when I played junior football but I sure as ā– ā– ā– ā–  threw myself into the contest and had tenacity when I tackled. As someone said it’s not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog and he just plain lacks fight.

Maybe Ham trains really really well?

Says more about the next guy who can’t make it?

ā€œare you ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  kidding me Is there rule suggesting I should think otherwise? I’m entitled to my opinion. ā€œ

Sound familiar, I guess everyone else is entitled to their opinion too.

Or is it only you?

Of course others are entitled to an opinion hence being a public forum however if you don’t understand my point you’re obviously part of the problem and one of the guilty ā€œsupportersā€

Wow!

This is precious.
If I don’t understand YOUR point so I’m obviously GUILTY.

Self appointed Judge Jury & Executioner.

Here is an alternative view.

You might simply be CLUELESS and WRONG.

Perhaps he just isn’t very good, a waste of a list spot, and LoL the criticism is justified.

The proof will be in the pudding, but from what I’ve tasted so far, it don’t taste good.

So maybe if you don’t understand what appears to be majority view, then YOU are the GUILTY supporter.

Being a good supporter doesn’t mean you are prepared to drink your own bath water. Perhaps it means you call it honestly as you see it.

Harden Up.

You are NOT alone. There are actually some Essendon SUPPORTERS here too.

Don’t confuse being an Essendon supporter with being a Brayden Ham supporter.

In other walks of life you see people resign when they come to the realisation they have let the team down and realistically there is not serious prospect of recovery.

It is called doing the honourable thing.

Blindly ā€œsupportingā€ bad habits isn’t SUPPORT … it is ENABLING damaging behaviour.

Change is driven by desire and if REAL SUPPORTERS meekly shut up and say nothing in the face of absurdity.

We get efforts like last week and enable those who contribute to it.

I’m gunna say this

Even if he isn’t good enough (which is more likely than not)
Last week was a terrible game for an outside player to show their wares.

I think the coaches would rather give him 2-3 games in a row, and make absolutely sure there’s not something still there to work with, then put the big black texta through his name with confidence. Like we did with Clarke and Zaha last year.

I don’t think they need to see more games to see where he is at. They know his limitations and that he is depth option.

Depth gets called upon as required as it is now

The way I see it with Shiel out, they’ll shift McGrath into midfield, Cutler into back 7 and Ham into an outside mid/HFF off the bench role

Ham is not going to be a core reason we win/lose games. Hopefully he can contribute more than did last week (as per most of our side)

At present, yep, but this is about seeing whether he’s got anything else to possibly offer. So don’t be surprised if he pops up in an odd, weird role in the next few weeks.
They do it with a lot of fringe guys. Clarke HFF?? Zaha HBF?
