Mine is of Captain Jack Clarke, who led our 1962 team to victory over the Saints. He was my first boyhood hero, and the main reason l started following Essendon. l am also small in stature and always played as a rover, so it was only natural l try to emulate him. This pic l found here on BBlitz, and is of Clarke at age 19 or so. I looked a bit like him in this pic, when l was about 17, so it sort of reminds me of high school days.
