He stayed within .6 to .8 until he started leaving a gap to preserve his tyres
your very harsh on oscar, he drove well , lando never really opened a gap, very difficult track to overtake on, to only finish 9 seconds down despite a slow pitstop and an extra pitstop for a puncture is a great effort
Agree and how about Kimmi doing what Lando was taking ages to do.
Hamilton admitted that it was his strategy and apologised to the team.
I must admit, I wasnât a big fan of Hamilton but have come around.
Such a boring nothing circuit.
Agreed. Having lived in Singapore itâs a great spectacle but such a boring race. Unfortunately they probably canât do much about the track unless they make major changes.
In my opinion they should just make sure it rains!
Doesnât help. They never let the cars race when its really wet. Apparently the safety of the racers is more important than me being entertained pffttt.
They have all these delays cos of safety followed by no one even using the full wet tyre, half the time there are cars starting in these dangerous conditions in slicks ffs
Itâs the visibility for the drivers apparently.
Wouldnât impact Lando. He doesnât watch where he is going anyway.
They need to make the manufacturers have rain hubs with wipers on the front that can put over the top of the drivers to ensure they can see in the rain.
One would need hummingbird power and be very rigid to keep the windscreen clean at 350kph
Possibly they could engineer a more pointed windscreen that had more aero and the pace or an air blast system kept the glass clean?
Itâs more the spray. Nothing to do with a windscreen.
Ok then. How we different groves in the tyres to disperse the water in a way that clears the view of the track?
Mudflaps?
Yes. Genius. Now we are getting somewhere!
Lando must have been absolutely bollocked to be suddenly so sickeningly team focussed.
Like a scolded little kid trying to still get his ice cream.
Did Rwanda have a big oil strike?
Rwanda had the Road World Cycling event in 2025. They are going after big events.
