I love Max more than anyone here. Unless it can be proven that he didn’t run into Russell on purpose it was a terrible act and should be punished more harshly.
On the other hand it was against Russell so play on.

I’m starting to agree with those who think he’s a twat. Unlike Elon it’s possible to still enjoy his antics, and obviously his talent. Hope he doesn’t become too much of a ‘boer’ now his car isn’t the shiniest.

Firstly, he’s Dutch, he’s just being Dutch about it.
He didn’t have the best car in the Mercedes era and he handled it ok

There were a few questionable moves by Max on Lewis. He did take him out in one race.
But it was against Lewis so carry on.
Same goes for Lando.
If he takes out Pastry intentionally that is another story.

Max likes to push things right to the edge. It’s what has made him so successful.
Sometimes goes a bit too far but so have most of the greats (of which he is absolutely one).

Very true. Senna was very similar and went past the edge many times. I can’t recall him ever deliberately taking someone out as Max appears to have done though.
Schumacher did it.

Yes he did but it was never like this. Appearing to back off to allow the pass and give back position and then accelerating and apparently taking him out intentionally.
Senna crashed into his own teammate, Prost, very deliberately.

Max denied Lewis 3 years in a row and then Florist last year. I will forever have a soft spot for him due to this.
He’s a flog but when I found out what a piece of sh*t his old man was to him growing it (beating him over mistakes etc) that mitigates it somewhat for me.
