F1 202x - Maybe?

Vettel on pole, Hamilton 2nd.

Webber set the third fastest time, so he'll start from 13th tomorrow.

Webber has been so unlucky this season.

I can't believe he gets cut off, accelerates to get back on the track and the car catches fire...

unbelievable.

Webbers car on fire now. LOL. Fk me he’s had a wretched race after doing so well to get back into it from 13th.

Can't quite believe that it happened tbh.

pure bad luck.

ffs, he drove well to get himself back into the race and then catches on fire

not his fault, but yeah., not his year.

Marshall truck drives across the track not too far in front of one of the cars.

Geez now ricciardo gone 2 laps away from top 10

I will explain the Webber situation.

Had driven brilliantly to go from 13th to 3rd. Did his final pit stop at lap 30 - So notionally seeing that everyone seemed to be on the same tyre strategy he is 3rd. He leaves the pit lane behind Perez - Perez' tyre explodes leaving debris on the track - At this stage it's a disaster for Webber because it will put him back to 8th or 9th as the other cars who were due for pit stops all come in. Then after one lap behind the safety Webber realises that he got a puncture from Perez' debris - So forced to make another pit stop to replace tyres - back to 11th or 12th - next disaster is that he has to go onto super softs ( used his allocation of medium compounds ) - So then has to do 19 or 20 laps on these tyres which normally last for 12 to 14 laps. Safety car comes out on Lap 36 and race restarts. Somehow on the third corner - Sutil who is four cars behind Webber, loses control of his car and goes into a long spin and hits Webber's car, causing it to catch fire.

Last race Webber was fourth with an outside chance of third and his engine fails with four laps to go. This race coming third before freak incidents cause him to DNF.

Gotta say that he is an unlucky driver !

I would very much like for him to win one more race before leaving F1.

This is likely after vettel wraps up the Drivers Title. Certain that if he qualifies well the team will set up the victory.

You really think Vettel is in any way a team player and gives one stuff about Webber winning a race?

Once he is racing he is out for himself. He listens to no-one, once again shown late in the Korean race where the team mentioned he should manage the tyres and not a minute later he set a new lap record.  As long as Vettel keeps winning the "team" will be kissing his ■■■■.

I guarantee that if circumstances permit Webber will win a race - A few things have to right and we know that Webber is unlucky. It hurts the team that Webber hasn't finishes the last two races - Red Bull would have nearly wrapped up the constructors title - Which is super important.

13 October 2013, Suzuka Circuit

he combination of corners, relentless flow through the high speed sections and radial turns, esses and hairpins makes Suzuka one of the toughest challenges of the year for F1 engines. A high-speed figure of eight track that features every possible corner, the engine needs to deliver across the entire power spectrum without sacrificing driveability and responsiveness. The high speed corners such as the Esses also subject the internals of the engine and lubricant systems to high lateral G-forces.

Will take a punt and predict that one of the Lotuses will win the Japanese Grand Prix.

Vettel will be so far in front we'll wonder how it's possible.

So the current theory is that in Vettel’s car they have linked KERS to the suspension, turning it into a form of traction control; have a read of this, and especially watch the videos
