The only bittersweet thing about them being 0-4 is that with every loss it strengthens Hawthorn’s draft hand. Great they don’t have their own first, but ■■■■ making the Hawks stronger is not something I like seeing!

I don’t really watch non-EFC games too much these days, and I turned off last night’s game because it makes me ■■■■■■■ sick seeing everything going right for that cunting club Collingwood. Anyway, I understand that Carlton’s list has very good top end talent, and they’ve had some decent players the next level down but fall away horribly after that. I’m curious about these four players:
Walsh - Is he really that good? He’s a hard worker and gets a decent amount of ball, but he’s not big, skillful or quick and doesn’t hit the scoreboard. I reckon he’s kinda vanilla.
Cerra - I think he had one handpass in the bit of the game I saw. This has been a bad piece of business for Carlton, right?
Saad- Has his level has dropped off a fair way? Looks like it to me.
Docherty - He looks cooked. Which is completely understandable given what he’s been through.

Voss has proven multiple times already he can turn this season around enough to build up the hopes of fans before having them crash back down again.

I’ve said that a fair bit to mates of mine and they’ve jumped down my throat when I suggested this. Very good description of him. Now, he looks completely battered and bruised. Might well be cooked at what, 26 years old? Just checked and he’s 24, 25 this year. I can’t see him getting over his injury issues. He may have to be recast in a different role to prolong his career because the way he’s going he could be done by 27-28…

I think one underated here but Matt Kennedy has been decent at his new club and would have been handy at Blues in the second group of midfielders, they probably expected Jagga smith to get those minutes, but he’s gone now. Maybe Blues even picking up a Jackson hately type in mid season draft might help give them a little more run and strength in the middle.

No, I don’t think Matt Kennedy is any loss to them.
Their midfield is just filled with similar types. Good in the contest, work all day, but aren’t particularly damaging. Who is their Merrett equivalent who cuts you apart on the outside?
Yeah no doubt with a few promising academy kids they massage there ladder finish perfectly.

Gonna be a rough 10 or so years coming up for FC. Their stars aren’t exactly young, they’ve got no first-rounder this year, and they won’t have access to a lot of the best talent in the draft for a couple of years when Tassie comes in. The only way they can have access to top-end talent this year is by letting their superstar ruckman walk via free agency

It will suck if FC finish last and TDK leaves. Hawks will get pick 1 and FC will get pick 2 compensation. We need Melbourne to finish last.

TDK is a good player but what last night demonstrated is that you do not pay a ruckman 1.7m. He was beaten by Darcy Cameron, who would be I guess a middle paid player. TDK can play as a key which makes him more attractive but if you pay him that much to play in the ruck you are nuts.

Yes, he is a loss but Owies, who was their best small forward, is a bigger loss. He kicked 30+ last year.
That’s basically two Best 22 players out and their replacements aren’t better.

Hopefully Fark Carlton get on a bit of a run, give false hope to their deluded fan base, finish 9th and miss the finals by a kick after the siren.
That will also go some way to also diluting the pick Fark Whorethorn are getting
