Father Son Watch (2017 onwards)

If we see Alwyn and or Jayden is redy …do they play in 2022

They are in next years draft. They can’t play before 2023.

I really hope so.

Pretty sure he got back to school footy. Just not TAC cup

Tex played one game of school footy in 2021.

Won’t Conforti be drafted?

It would certainly catch other teams on the hop if we select them next month.

But on a more serious note it would be nice to see them play a couple of times for Essendon VFL next year.

If Tex Wanganeen is not picked up in either the main or rockie drafts in 2021, and then he plays either as an over ager in the U18’s or VFL for the Bombers can he still be drafted in late 2022 as a father / son selection ?? Or is he too old ??

Yes he can.

Or he could be picked up SSP or in the mid season draft by any club.

There’s no too old for F/S. As long as he’s never been on an AFL list, he’s eligible.

We have quite a few spots on the list available, I wonder what the plan is for the F/S cohort?

Perhaps Rookies?

Also not a lot of news about Misiti and some of the others either.

No pressure. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Huh? Are you suggesting Kobe is so good he was selected for both under 15 boys AND girls teams? Surely that complicates the father-son rule.

Isn’t he in the 12 and under team?

He exists in multiple realities.

Maybe he could even find one where he plays in an Essendon team that wins a final.
