He has.

I reckon he will be given the opportunity to train with us over summer and fight for a SSP spot with Tex and Clarke

Would be great for Richmond to pick him up.
I just cant see Wanganeen and Moore both getting picked up.
Moore seemed like the most talented / ready for AFL in training last season from reports.

Yeah, he was being talked up a lot in this place. I believe that he chose Basketball over footy.

Seeya on the Rookie B list next year Moore.

*2024, needs three years without football first.

So, within the same calendar year, he trains withus, gets talked up as the best of the f/s bunch, but chooses basketball over footy, then nominates for the AFL draft. OK then.

I wasn’t aware of this. I read it somewhere on this site that he chose basketball.

Interesting.

Maybe he was a basketball spud!

His stint in basketball was clearly all about developing his ruck skills.

Yeah, I know, but it just seems like odd behaviour to “choose” basketball, then nominate for the AFL draft later in the year. Make up your mind, young fella!

Rookie B log jam and pivot required?

Alex Hird has played soccer and also needs a spot.

Irish or Tom Hird need to get elevated?

“needs”??

Alex Hird won’t get a spot this year IMO.
we will make a decision on McBride / Tom Hird next year whether to elevate or not.

He was playing footy this year.

So where did the whole “chose basketball over footy” thing come from?
