Yeah top 40 is ridiculous and will see the concept die off. Top 20 i thought is a fair balance.

Luca Alessio looked good today playing up forward kicking 2 goals, despite his light frame took a few nice contested marks. Alwyn kicked a classy goal late but spent a bit of time in the middle and did some nice things, always clean with the footy. NGA players didn’t get much of it with Rode the best of the lot playing as a small defender.

Watched West v Norwood U18’s today (unfortunately couldn’t attend) and Munkara just WOW
Kicked 4.2 and had a dozen or more touches. Looked a fair bit better than advanced than many others out there but TBH it was the first game and I’m not sure what teams are looking like this year as a comparison. At least with being stuck home I can watch all the U18’s and U16’s games from this first round

In a position we need as well.
If Munkara goes top 20 we shouldn’t have access to him imo. This is the first year the AFL has moved it out to 40, and knowing them they’ll shift it back to 20 after the year it royally screws us

Yeah Davey-Motlop looks a special player, has a long way to go fitness wise but his goal sense, clean hands and smarts are at a great level. Won’t be drafted until 2025 aswell

About 80 percent of the indigenous guys in the AFL seem to come from about 5 families. The pickets, motlops, longs, hills, riolis.
