Father Son Watch (2017 onwards)

I think we’re going to miss out on him.

Becuase he’s playing school footy?

Need to wait for champs and see how they perform.

did you play schoolfooty?

I’m concious that Territory prospects can often slip as they will always need to move interstate and are unable to be traded back home for value if they ever fall homesick.

I’m hoping we are lucky enough to take Munkara and get some good support around him because we are in need of an X-factor player.

Mankura plays his football a lot like Liam Jurrah.

He’s got good height and is able to launch at a marking contest, but just as crafty at ground level as any small forward.

Hopefully we find a way of getting him to the club…. He looks like absolute class, but just needs to tidy up a few areas of his game.

But tidy them up only so far as draft pick 41 or so.

Can’t see Mankura lasting past pick 40

Any chance the AFL change the rules around academy players. Pretty stupid going from no restrictions to only players after pick 40.

Wasn’t it no restrictions at all, then after pick 20 and now after pick 40?

They should have left it at 20.

As I’ve said before, you can have prioroty access to this player in your academy… as long as he’s not too good.

He loved his recent time at the Hangar. Boys really got around him.

I can understand the JUH pick 1 scenario, but to go all the way to pick 40 is ridiculous.

Why do you hate the Davey twins?

They play on each wing

In honesty, if you were to find a spot in the forwardline for Munkara….it would be to replace someone like Waterman or Perkins.

As he’s a good lead up marking target, but also offers plenty further up the ground and at ground level in forward 50.

In the albeit very limited footage I’ve seen of him, it looks like he doesn’t get as vertical as what Jurrah used to, but it seems he keeps his feet a bit better and is a little cleaner when the ball is on the deck. Jurrah seemed to thrive on chaos. It’s such a shame we didn’t get to see more of him

If Munkara is projected to go in the top 40 then we’d have to use our 2nd rounder on him
