For those desperate to see Bewick in action, my understanding is that the U/16 national championships will be streamed on the AFL Play YouTube channel.
They run from the 9th - 18th of June with Vic Metro scheduled to play three matches during that window (against Vic Country, SA and WA).
In the under 16s trial match the other day Bewick had 29 disposals at 76% efficiency, 8 marks, 5 inside 50s, 3 tackles, 11 contested possessions, 5 clearances, 9 score involvements and a goal. Best on ground by a mile.
It will be just in time for the AFL to change the rules again and screw us when it’s our turn.
Just like they did with the NGA rules.

Playing a Daicos style midfield role? I haven’t seen any footage of him to see what style he is in the mould of.
What’s a daicos style midfield role? He’s a gun but I’m not sure he’s invented a position.
I was told he’s a similar type to Daicos or Gulden
I would call a Daicos style midfielder as one who has speed, breaks the lines, uses elite skills and running power to hurt the opposition. As opposed to a Liberatore style midfielder who is on hand and knees bullocking his way inside the contest with tackling pressure and handballs to setup his teammates. Daicos and Liberatore could have identical stats in one game but they’re hurting the opposition in different ways.
