They will change it so that no FS can be picked in the first round.
It won’t happen, but if it did Clubs will figure a way around these scenarios.
Ie. the player quits football when 16, and then plays basketball for 2 years. Then pick them up as Category B rookie.

Have to admit, way back in the dim dark ages when I updated the top post of this thread with stats every week, I didn’t really cover blokes until they reached the u16s, or very occasionally the u14s. Simply cos that’s when kids start to decide whether or not they’re going to be serious about footy, and it seems unfair to be even second-hand putting pressure or the weight of expectation on some 12yo kid.
