Have to admit, way back in the dim dark ages when I updated the top post of this thread with stats every week, I didn’t really cover blokes until they reached the u16s, or very occasionally the u14s. Simply cos that’s when kids start to decide whether or not they’re going to be serious about footy, and it seems unfair to be even second-hand putting pressure or the weight of expectation on some 12yo kid.
And growth spurts.
Every local footy club has a guy who was the jet big strong midfielder, until they stopped growing at 170cm
As an ex-u12 ruck, and an ex-u16 back pocket, I feel their pain…
