Rioli
Wanganeen
Lovett.

Richie Cole

Deano or derek kickett at their best.

but really gotta go with brownlow winner. Wangas.

Outside of Essendon. Lance Franklin. When he is done by a margin.

Long- he has it all. Tough, fast, awesome skills, leader. He didn’t have to even take possession sometimes just little taps here and there to set up play

In terms of unfulfilled talent who could of been anything- Lovett and Cupido

The guy who i would love to have protecting me in a dark alley- Natrat

Cupido wasnt indigenous. South African.

I liked seeing the centerline in the early 90’s where Anderson and long were on the wings and Kickett was picked in the center

People realise the title asks for “Favorite”, … not Best,. right?

How Wanga the deserter ends up so many folks “Favorite”, is a little weird

He is in the top 3 best though, of course.

What is wrong in listing a player who was your favourite while they played for the club?

Rioli…I remember that it blew my mind, when there was a shockingly wet and slippery day, and the fat bloke that I thought might struggle to get around, actually shone out so far above all other players in those conditions because HIS SKILLS WERE ON A WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL.

Rioli. End of story for me. One of my all time favourites, indigenous or not.

Wanganeen & Dean Rioli for me.
Really felt for Rioli with all his injury issues he had throughout his career, then missing the 2000 grand final was the final straw.
Wish we had more indigenous players on our list right now.

I tell you what I do remember about that photo.

It was on the front page of the herald sun. But underneath the photo was an unrelated story

But it said and I’m not lying

BOOZE ALERT

Dean Rioli.

The mental image I have in my head of him consistently kicking it to Lloyd tit out is one I will never forget.

Best kick of the football I have ever seen.
