Former #19 Nick Hind

I’d be amazed if he got another gig with anyone else. He is what he is, and probably only going to get worse from here

Yes, I think he’s on the way out. It feels like he’s one of those players Scott doesn’t appreciate. He has his limitations, and I always believed we’d be a better team when we had a better version of him in the team - but then Menzie, who is definitely not better, gets games and a contract extension. I don’t really know what to think now.

Serves him right for not being completely ■■■■ unlike the others.

I just don’t know why he isn’t playing sub every week, particularly if his last season. . He is our only player that has shown he can impact in the position. Better than further destroying young a player’s confidence.

Probably because no ones done this before.
It’ll be the ultimate c*nt act to do. To anyone. Of any age.

Like him or not, Nick Hind is a competitor. Just like any AFL player. And restricting him to just sub every game would have him leaving the club and half the list would turn against the coaching team. This may sound great to begin with, but it can fark you right up with the players who actually are willing to grind through the current problems…

Almost every club just plays the next best player (that isn’t a tall) as the sub. If that’s a young player, so be it. If it’s an older player, so be it.
It really is that simple.

Im not sure whether its related to him not in the senior side, but ive heard from a couple of people that most the list cant stand the guy

Maybe that’s just the pissweak 70% who need to be moved on ?

(Percentage based on Worzel’s statement that when he became coach he had to move 70% of the players on before we could win a premiership.)

Should have been in instead of Stringer.
At least he would put pressure on their defenders.

That is the same group of guys sooking after Brad gives them a bake.

Nick is and always has been very direct in the way he talks to people .

There is a split in the group in general that has got wider the last few weeks

He would fit in well at the cats as a BP, id offload him for a fourth rounder.

After watching Nick at the ground in the VFL yesterday, I can say that he’s very intense and more than a little angry. He was giving some animated feedback to the coaches over the head set. There was also lots of head shaking and pointing. He plays with passion.

I mean after last week how could any player sook after being given a bake? Completely non competitive last week, better this week but still a ways to go and effort / going hard for the ball should be absolutely unconditional

I’m guessing Hind is done for yeah?

Usually you’d yes, but Brad Scott loves his older blokes so he might get another year.

I reckon so, have the feeling he was getting close to hitting a trigger in he’s contract for another year hence not being played

Should have bought him in to tag Gulden.

Not offered a contract.

I’m hearing Dees or Saints. Good luck, Hindy.

Delisted after 79 games in four years.

Provided us with many exciting moments…and a few hair pulling ones as well…but gave his all.

Good luck for your future endeavours.
