Iam with Primmer
Donât particularly want to be with EFC List managers, but I am on this one
We would be screwed if we have injuries to Draper and Bryan and donât have Goldie as a back up.
Wright is not a ruckman
Vigo is no where near ready
Gerryn is further away then Vigo but has talent
Cox is too injury prone to ruck
yep have to agree as much as id like to see vigo have a crack a fresh goldy coming in will be much better scenario
Also Iâd say having Goldie on the list coaching as well as playing offers far more to the team and development than Baldwin
Depends if Draper and Bryan were both out and GoldStein had retired before mid season draft this would likely be my 22 in elimination final.
b: McGrath McKay Hayes
hb: Shiel Ridley Redman
c: Duursma Parish Martin
hf: Perkins Caddy Caldwell
f: KAKO Langford Wright
r: REID Durham Merrett
int: Gresham, Tsatas, HOBBS, Prior,
Sub: Cox
EMG: Jones, Roberts, El-Hawli
Reid, Wright and Cox to run through the ruck at times.
would be exciting and unpredictable Reid rucked in the NAB league as a skinny 17 year old.
i was going to correct you but i guess the grand final is an elimination final?
You are a monster for even suggesting that
Unfortunately a coulda shouda wouda been that didnât
â â â â no! Are you on crack?
The kid has barely been able to string more than 2 consecutive games together and you expect him to ruck a final?!?
Him to. Absolutely superfluous.
Not a single club wanted Tom Stewart until he was age 24-25 or so. Were all the clubs right to pass on him prior to 2016?
This club kept Menzie and let Mass go.

So we should clog the list with more than 5 Ruckman
Draper
Bryan
Wright
Cox and
Vigo
is suffice Gerryn is an added bonus and isnât Goldy still on the list so that makes 7 ruckmen even taking out Wright and Cox it is 5

That is just a ridiculous view to be honest.
Firstly Menzie has played five times more games than Kaine also you want to get rid of a player in a area we are very short stocked in for an injury riddled player in an area we have pretty solid depth
We can and will obviously disagree on our assessment of the potential of a young tall who has mostly played VFL.
But you have no idea about our list. Weâre likely to play 3 non-marking forwards. Weâve got Gresham, Perkins, Kako, Guelfi, Menzie, Davey, and Unwin. 7 players for 3 spots.
Down back we play 3 tall backs and have McKay, Reid, Ridley, Lav and Hayes. 2 spare players for 3 spots, with two of the main candidates quite injury prone. The idea we have more tall depth down back than small forwards is laughable.

Menzie was coming off a decent season though in 2023.
Heppell is the player Scott should have retired at the end of '23.
I was talking 2024 Menzie. No problem keeping him at end of 2023. Just pointing out EFC does make mistakes.
I know this wonât be popular, and its true I donât give much of a fark about that - but I really liked Kaine as a forward at VFL level.
I know he got a couple of games there at AFL level, but I would have liked to see more. I think we were â â â â -arsed terrible in those 3 or so games
Oh well; maybe at the VFL?
I really liked Baldwin as a player, but let him play a season of uninjured VFL and hopefully someone picks him up. Hopefully us, if he gets back form and his body is up to it.

He got those games at the start of 2022, when heâd played I think 2 whole VFL matches in his career. He went back to VFL and played well as a forward for the rest of the year, then got switched to defence the next offseason.
