He’s quicker than I thought and seems to be improving each game. Our forward line was way too one dimensional tonight though

Probably the only issue I see at the moment is that doesn’t really jump much. Gets caught flat footed alot in pack mark situations.
I’m 99.9% sure that is related to his back-to-back knee recos. Be interesting to see how that changes with some game confidence.
But he’s way ahead of any schedule i would have imagined for him before the pre season began.
I’m a fan.

Agree, is reluctant to really leap up at the footy at the moment. His ground level work and ability to lead and create space looks very good though.
I’d be perfectly happy for him to have a crack in round 1. My gut says that Francis is preferred by the coaches if fit, but exceptional option and hasn’t made the decision easy.
If this guy stays fit anything is possible

Felt like he was too team oriented tonight which isn’t a bad thing at all he played a great game and with confidence you’d be expecting him to fly for a lot more or lead up and demand the ball
All you want to see is improvement and that is what’s happening every week. A month ago i gave him very little chance for round 1 and now i think he is 50/50 which is a big credit to him

Man its close. Will think on that overnight. Baldwin did a lot of behind the scenes blocking to free up some players… i am glad Caracella post game called out Baldwins not seen team plays that they were really happy with.
