I actually feel like Lav to Cameron is the move.
But these are all redundant points anyway. They’ll rotate through them, and at times Zerk will be on Rohan and Lav will be minding Hawkins.

Lav did a good job on Hawkins in the preseason game, though I expect Stewart will get him. I think this is how they’ll line up:
Stewart vs Hawkins
Laverde vs Cameron
BZT vs Ratugolea
Ridley vs Rohan

I don’t mind Beef Zerky tbh. He has his limitations and will never be a star, but he’s an old fashioned blue collar defender.
Always puts in, solid 1v1 and a good size with scope for improvement.
I think our backline looks more balanced with 2 legit kpd in it opposed to 1 and Francis etc.

My only thought is he’s told the club he wants to go back to SA or something which is why we’re not putting that much time into him

After tonight, surely Stewart will be banished with Zerk too take his spot.
Really hope so, I just can’t see Stewart making it as a defender. Put him back in the forward line.
It was the wrong call to drop him for this game.
The defence has looked better - almost without exception - with him in the team.
