Former #36 Jayden Davey

Im not against Brads decisions at all re munkara and davey tbh.

List spots are valuable.

Munkara clearly wasnt going to make it. He got injured and got super fat. Either he didnt care, or we didnt have the resources to help. Either way, it clearly wasnt going to work.

Davey, well again, injured for the first year but looked pretty fkg poor at vfl level and really had zilch fitness. Again, either he didnt care, or we didnt have the appropriate resources to help. Either way, it wasnt happening. his brother is lucky he got another contract.

Ive said it multiple times but our drafting and development teams seem completely out of sync with one and other. We draft players we dont have the capacity to develop, or have no clear development plan for.

Dodoro going is one piece of the puzzle. Whoever is in charge of player development also needs a massive, massive clip around the ears, or replacement.

It was clear davey and munkara were never going to work, so pulling the plug circumvents us going around in circles for 5 years and then invetably delisting them both,

This never happened. Maybe you’re thinking about Mozzie. Munkara wasn’t even taking up a valuable list spot.

yup youre right, my mistake

You do not even know who this bloke was, Munkara was not given a chance.

Mozzie did his knee and then quit. He is now spending a happy life eating turtles,

yes ive already accepted i mistook munkara for mozzie, old man.

Is ageism in the category of discrimination that’s taken seriously these days? Lol.

I think for the most part they have been out of sync. Dodoro blamed player development. Development staff and footy bosses blamed recruitment. Turns out both have been junk and have since been overhauled.

It feels now, at least I think so, that there is greater alignment between recruitment and development. Unfortunately, to bare any fruit from these changes is going to take at least 3 more years imo.

its a fact that bacchus is old

It’s also a fact that some people are black, muslim, gay or whatever, but you don’t typically see people finishing a sentence pointing that out. You meant it to be derogatory to Bacchus i think, that’s why you said it.

Well you just trim off one of the ten AFL executives, there’s half the rookie listed players paid for.
Get rid of some of the ludicrous expenses they can claim (wardrobe, food, ect.) there’s a few more.
And hell you could even get them to just let the regular media cover the sport. As opposed to its own media branch running all narratives fascist style.

But that would almost have it inline with most other nonprofits, as opposed to an elite boys club. I mean elite sports organisation.

Bacchus has actually made it very clear in other threads that he finds it acceptable to call indigenous people “black {insert derogatory term of choosing}”, so I am taking his lead.

Is the term “baby” also ageist?

How ironic; a Bully calling out someone for being a bully.

Excuse me.

Don’t believe I ever stated that, or you have taken it out of context.

I cannot think of any instance where it would be acceptable for me to call any person of colour a “black #####”.

You stated it multiple times in the soccer thread re the Sam kerr drama.

Ok to use the term ‘black’ if calling goodes a stupid ‘black’ person, same with calling someone a stupid ‘jew’ or ‘indian’ in the context of your clients who are hard to deal with.

You also said it was not racist for Kerr to someone a ‘black’ bastard, if in fact they are black. The bastard component may be offensive, but it’s certainly not racist because it’s an ‘accurate descriptor’, to use your words.

You should go back and check it out if you’ve forgotten. I don’t blame you if you have chosen to forget it.

It’s a well established fact, if you’re middle aged or older, white, straight and male you can pretty much say anything you want to them or about them and it’s fine. Their identity is apparently privileged, sitting at the very bottom of the intersectionality pyramid.

Like I said, I cannot think of any instance where it would be acceptable for me to call any person of colour a “black #####”

You take the Sam Kerr discussion out of context, but that is your agenda.

Yup sure Bacchus.

Is that a random fact or a true fact ?
