There is no reason whatsoever to mention his race. It has nothing to do with the topic of the article which is about a report for a headbutt during a football game. Itās a sad state of affairs when people feel the need to point out racial difference when it has no bearing on anything.

Generating discussion is a weak excuse, especially if your going to justify by bringing up lazy stereotypes. Generating division might be a better term to use in this situation.
There is nothing unusual about being Sudanese. Heās not an exotic curiosity, heās a person and he deserves to be treated like anyone else.
The action surprised me tbh, But there is rightly a lot of negativity about that type of hit, which can cause devastating injuries if skillfully delivered with extreme malice. However, this was little more than a nod. 0 weeks for the hit, 2 weeks to discourage anyone else from trying it on a footy field.

According to the Herald Sun Gach is a Sudanese ruckman. Bugger me I thought was Australian! Does that mean he is in the overseas recruit category like Connor etc were? :)
