Rather contrasting threads between this one and the Snelling one. Snelling actually played some good games, and was a handy player (albeit with limitations), and did the team thing. Voss on the other hand only showed that he was an ok VFL player
Look. Iâd prefer it be Voss thatâs chopped over Hunter (who I think has more upside). But the fact that Weiderman is still there (I know he is contracted) over Voss is the ultimate failure in list management.
He had a lot more forward craft to learn to be able to get involved when he wasnât being the target coming out of goal square.
And even when he was doing that, was not a marking threat
Many an undersized kpf does well at VFL level but canât transition that to AFL
Maybe they might have persisted with him more if there wasnât the off field question marks but given there may be heâs left himself at risk of being cut and here we are
Hunter is a genuine kpf option whilst also having a capacity to play fwd/ruck, if decision was between the two glad they went the way we did
Whereâs all this nonsense about off field issues coming from? Iâve seen a few people speculate today but donât recall having ever seen a single thing mentioned about it previously.
